Hi, I’m Michael The Mindhealth Coach

Many of us suffer with a distracted, cluttered & underconfident mind. We overthink, procrastinate & doubt our own ability. We worry about lack of work, too much work, being in the wrong work. We’re full of insecurities. We feel disconnected from ourselves and others. We yearn to fulfil our potential and we know we’ve so much more to give but can’t help holding ourselves back. Any positive changes we make rarely stick. It affects our relationships, our work and our wellbeing.

I’m sad to see so many people giving up on their ambitions & not pursuing their dreams because of a mind that can be healed. Or those who are at the top of their game, leaders in their industry and seemingly winning at life, but emotionally unfulfilled.

To heal our mind, we need to improve clarity, connection & confidence. When we fail to function well in any one of these areas, we can become stuck in our own heads.

Which are you struggling with?

I struggled with all three to be honest. I worked as a successful actor for 20 years. I was highly ambitious & at the top of my game, working with all the best actors & directors. But as my success levels increased, so did my stress levels. I found myself in many high pressure situations & high performance environments which initially thrilled me but soon became difficult to navigate. I’d never learned the tools of mental resilience. I’d never learned how to take care of my own wellbeing. My eye was on my next job. Rarely on my own mental health and happiness. My mind was becoming increasingly distracted. I told no one. As burnout loomed, my work began to suffer. I had no idea what to do. I finally spoke up. And everything changed..

I took a pause from acting & travelled the world to train with mentors & thought leaders from many disciplines & industries. I learned tools and strategies that kept me confident, purposeful, connected and feeling well. I started to help my actor colleagues who’d seen my own transformation. In doing so, I found a passion for coaching & teaching. As an actor I struggled for years with anxiety, panic attacks and lack of confidence before getting help to completely transform my mindset. Now I help people who are struggling to achieve the same results. Using all these incredible mental tools & strategies I’ve gained along the way, I help driven people just like you reignite your enthusiasm for life. I ensure you’re super clear on the life you want before giving you a fully customised instruction manual for your own mind. Then, we set purposeful goals together and I ensure you achieve them by holding you to account. I guide you every step of the way, until you fulfil your greatest ambitions in every area of your life. Some people work with me for 12 weeks but most become lifetime clients because what I do is unique and works.

‘Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will’ – thanks to Suzy Kassem for this quote. A little blunt, but sadly very true.

The one thing that can stop us from living the life that we want, is fear. It destabilises us, confuses us, makes us mess up at work & in our relationships and stops us from having the things in our life that we know we deserve.

So, how to we destroy fear? Well a good place to start is by not making fear the enemy or something to destroy. Eckhart Tolle says ‘whatever you fight you strengthen and what you resist persists’. As with all pointless battles in life, if we fight something we can’t learn from it.
